About the Facility
After 19 years in Stafford County, Crucible plans to move their headquarters and new state-of-the-art training facility to Spotsylvania County. The proposed facility will consist of indoor classroom space for students and government agencies, as well as four target areas, ranging from 25 to 500 yards in length. All shooting will be one-directional, and all ranges will be surrounded by 20-foot earth berms and additional safety features. An additional scenario area will be built to simulate small, challenging environments. Defensive driving courses will take place on the property’s rally course, as well as at Dominion Raceway nearby.
